"Free-form" plastering is the art of creating any form from nature or your imagination out of lath and plaster. "Theme" plastering is the creation of a specific effect or theme, often using a combination of free-form plastering, EIFS, Stucco and other plastering systems combined to create an all encompassing "theme". Examples of these systems can be seen at amusement parks, casinos, theatres and shopping malls all across North America. Some notable examples would be the Disney Theme Parks and all along the Las Vegas Strip.
